Ordering flowers online should be easy and affordable. That is why you must avoid what we in the business call "order gatherers." These are online companies who promote flowers, but simply take your order, charging you astronomical shipping and handling fees. These companies make their money from the extra fees they charge you.
These extra fees are not passed on to the florist and many times the order is "skimmed" before passing it on to a local florist to fill.
The pictures on most of the sites can be misleading. Most times you do not get the pictured items, or the flowers are delivered band tied to the bottom of a box.
When ordering online make sure the florist you contact is located in the delivery area. Ask questions about their business, make sure you get a name, and check to see if they only have 800 numbers.
When you call your local florist you can get what you want and get it delivered when you want!
